TARGET AREAS
Nepal is one of the least developed and poorest countries in the world. It’s unique geographical, cultural, climatic and environmental conditions, demand new and creative long-term approaches to work in partnership with the local communities in appropriate and sustainable development.
Our current working area is mainly focused on the communities in the upper Humla district, in the Karnali zone, which is the least developed area of Nepal.
RIDS - Nepal is currently working in nine villages in the three Village Development Committees (VDCs), Dhandhphaya, Chaughanphaya and Hepka, which is a half –one day’s walk north of Simikot, Humla, Nepal.
