In 2002 RIDS-Nepal started a project partnership with the Moharigaun village community with a "Family of 4" long-term holistic community development program. But due to the civil war we were not able to follow-up or continue our project partnership as intended. Finally after 8 years and a request from the village community, we were able to re-visit the village. With the local Moharigaun community still very interested to continue our project partnership, we were able to restart the partnership and project activities, based on the identified needs of the local people. The interactive image below shows the beautiful village – Moharigaun, which will help you see visually what RIDS-Nepal has been able to accomplish together with the generous donations and funds raised by one donor family and the voluntary sweat work of the local people.
